Hana Beaman

Hana Beaman

A force to be reckoned with, Hana Beaman, has established herself as one of the major female power players in today’s snowboarding movement. Following closely in the footsteps of icons such as Tara Dakides and Shannon Dunn, Hana has made a name for herself among the elite female snowboarders in the industry. Catching the eye of fans, sponsors, and athletes alike, Hana emerged as an all-around snowboarder. With grace, good looks, unparalleled drive and a modest attitude she has not only set the bar for many up and coming rookies but also continues to conquer the snow today.

Hana turned pro in the 2000/2001 season and achieved top results in many events in her first season. In fact, Hana was off to a commanding start when she was named Transworld Snowboardings Rookie of the Year that first season. In her second pro season, Hana had numerous notable finishes at events such as the Yahoo Big Air & Style and the Vans Triple Crown. In 2002 the Transworld Rider Poll Awards awarded Hana the prestigious ‘Snowboarder of the Year’. To add to her podium finishes, 2007 brought Hana a win at the Nippon Open in slopestyle. Hana continued to up her accomplishments when she opened the 07/08 year by scoring the first Transworld Snowboarding cover of the season. That same season also saw the premiere of her video part in the Runway Films’, “La La Land”. In 2009 Hana won the Ride Shakedown event and amazingly managed to keep up with the contest circuit while simultaneously filming for a new girls project by JMills Entertainment entitled “Stance”.

Snowboarding is not just a hobby for Hana, it’s a lifestyle. Whether it be competing around the world, riding her local mountain, shooting footage for films, or helping produce her signature series items, Hana continues to keep it fun and adventurous. While Hana has already made a name for herself, her persistence keeps her moving forward and competing on par with the best; and no matter how you shake it, Hana continues to be a woman to watch in the always competitive snowboarding scene.
