Ride With Us Episode 4 is Out!
February 3rd, 2012
Ride snowboards just dropped their latest episode of “Ride with us” featuring Rockstar’s Hana Beaman. The Ride crew tears up the Pac Northwest. Check it out below.
While the crew continued to wait for La Nina to come back, we loaded up the sleds and made a journey up onto Mt. Baker in search of some freshies. We were able to session some super fun natural hits up high on the volcano and even send the sleds off some hits as well.
Soon after that, La Nina came back in a BIG way, burying the whole state of Washington in that fluffy stuff. While Kitzke made use of the snow that shut down the cities, Tommy, Shaw, and Hiro made a trip up to Red Mountain in Rossland, British Colombia to meet up with the likes of Hanah Beaman, Brenden Swanson, Megan Ginter, and Todd Kirby. While up in Beautiful British Colombia the crew found some nipple deep pow and even some fun Urban spots. Thanks to our super rad guide Canadian Mike, aka Mike Cole, the crew had a blast and even came home with a few new tricks up their sleeves!
Meanwhile the snow is still coming down up here in the Pacific Northwest, so I’m gonna stop writing about this episode and go pack my gear and get ready to stack tomorrow in the back country!

Hana Beaman and the girls have set off from Whistler and landed in the deep forests of interior BC to meet up with friends at the GT memorial NoBoard race, then out to a little cabin in the woods for some dreamy pillow riding. First rule about T^*#+ L@&%, don’t talk about T^*#+ L@&%!!
Torstein Horgmo’s PERFECT Backside Triple Cork
January 30th, 2012
Scoring a perfect 50 and making it look so easy, Torstein stomped a backside triple at X Games. Watch the video below. Just part of the reason we love him. He continues to push the level of competition, all the while with a giant smile on his face.
Putting on Chains is Sexy…Sort of
January 28th, 2012
Bear Mountain put out this little video on how to put on chains. I guess they’re hoping that by adding a chick in a bikini to a video it might actually help the helpless. Anyone who has driven up to Bear when there is even a slight smell of snow knows how ridiculous some people are when it comes to chains. Chains on the front wheels of a truck, one chain on one front wheel and one chain on the back wheel, chains swinging loose and hitting the wheel well…all are regular sights and can turn the short drive up the mountain into a long slow crawl in traffic. I’m not sure these chain instructions will do anything to alleviate that mess, but it will spread like wildfire over the interwebs and is good marketing for Bear.
Note to girls, especially girls in bikinis: Date dudes with 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and avoid this all together.
